Team Cho Taekwondo Academy came to be in the year 2024. Under Mr. Cho’s teachings, Team Cho Taekwondo Academy hopes to bring in a new wave of martial artists in the Glastonbury, CT area. At Team Cho Taekwondo Academy, we believe Taekwondo is an artform anyone can learn regardless of gender, age, or experience. Not only will the academy conserve the traditional teachings of Taekwondo through poomse (forms) and kyorugi (sparring), but also shed light in a new expression of taekwondo called taekwondo kickboxing, that can be used more practically in the ever changing world of martial arts.

Our mission at Team Cho Taekwondo Academy has always been to create an uplifting environment for students to thrive through the teachings of martial arts. Not only will students receive the best guidance for their technical skills in their martial arts, but at the same time students will be taught the characteristics needed to excel in their lives outside of martial arts as well! We believe having strength alone isn’t what creates a strong black belt, but having good personal character is much more important in creating a strong black belt.
